What you will learn

A complete foundation

The programme goes beyond application technique. It develops the judgement, communication and practical skills needed to work with care—and to recognise when Kambo is not suitable.

Foundations and tradition

Understand Kambo's origins, its relationship with the Matsés and the responsibility that comes with working with an Indigenous practice.

Screening and safety

Learn structured client screening, contraindications, preparation, clear decision-making and when not to proceed.

Physiology and responses

Build a grounded understanding of how the body may respond and how to recognise, monitor and respond to different situations.

Practical application

Develop practical skills through supervised learning, with careful attention to hygiene, pacing and responsible application.

Client care

Explore communication, boundaries, holding space and responsible care before, during and after a session.

Ethics and professional practice

Work with clear standards, ethical sourcing, honest communication, record keeping and ongoing accountability.

Affiliate KPA conversion course

Already trained as a Kambo practitioner elsewhere?

Non-KPA practitioners must apply for and complete an approved Affiliate KPA Conversion Course before they can request KPA membership. Previous training does not provide direct entry to membership.
