1. When these terms apply
These terms apply to the KPA public website, training applications, member forum, practitioner directory and related digital services. If an eligible practitioner is privately offered a paid service, the order summary, current price, billing interval and service details shown before payment form part of the agreement.
2. Access and eligibility
KPA membership is not offered for direct purchase on this public website. Practitioners who completed KPA practitioner training may use the private route provided by the KPA team, subject to current verification and conduct requirements.
A practitioner trained outside KPA must apply for and complete an approved Affiliate KPA Conversion Course before requesting KPA membership. Completing the course permits a membership request but does not guarantee approval, certification or a public listing.
Any privately offered paid access will show its current price, billing interval, included services, trial terms where applicable and cancellation information before the practitioner confirms payment.
3. Separate KPA practitioner approval
Payment does not verify practitioner status. Access to the KPA practitioner forum and practitioner benefits requires separate approval of Kambo practitioner eligibility by a KPA administrator, together with a current paid or complimentary access basis. A course application, course completion, membership request or payment does not guarantee approval, certification, a public listing or a training place.
Applicants should complete the verification process and review the eligibility status shown in the member portal. If payment has been taken but KPA access remains unavailable because verification was not granted, the customer should contact us promptly so the subscription and any entitlement or refund due can be reviewed fairly.
4. Billing and recurring renewal
Stripe processes subscription payments for Kambo Clarity Ltd trading as Golden Era Academy. A monthly plan is charged each month and an annual plan is charged once for each 12-month subscription period. Each plan renews on the same interval until cancelled. The member portal and Stripe billing portal show the plan, next billing date and cancellation state.
If we propose a material price or service change for a later renewal, we will give reasonable notice before it takes effect and explain how to cancel. A change will not alter a charge already paid for the current period.
5. Cancelling a subscription
A member may cancel at any time through the secure Stripe billing portal linked from Membership & Billing. Cancellation stops the next renewal. Unless a refund or earlier end is required by law, access continues to the end of the period already paid for. The member can also contact us if the billing portal is unavailable.
The member portal may display a short grace period after paid access ends. A grace period gives time to resolve a payment or account issue; it is not a further paid subscription period. If payment is not restored or another access basis does not apply, member-only access ends on the date shown and any active public practitioner listing becomes ineligible for display.
6. Failed payments
If a recurring payment fails, Stripe may retry it and the member will be asked to update the payment method. The forum may continue access temporarily until the grace date displayed in Membership & Billing. If payment remains unresolved when that period ends, access to paid services is suspended until the subscription is brought back into good standing or another approved access route applies.
7. Cooling-off and refunds
UK consumers generally have a 14-day cancellation period for a distance contract, but the legal treatment can differ between a service and digital content supplied online. Where a customer asks for service or digital access to start during that period, we will not treat a statutory cancellation right as reduced or lost unless the legal requirements—including any required express request, consent and acknowledgement—have been met.
When a valid cooling-off cancellation is made, any refund and any permitted deduction for service already supplied will be handled in accordance with applicable consumer law. Cancelling only to stop a future renewal does not by itself create a refund for a period already supplied, but this does not affect rights where a service is faulty, misdescribed, unavailable, or the law otherwise requires a refund. Contact us promptly with the account email and payment date so the request can be reviewed.
8. Optional personalised content
Where a privately offered member service includes a personalised birth-chart PDF, it is available only to an eligible current member who provides the birth details needed to prepare it. The member is responsible for checking those details before submission. Timing and delivery may be affected by missing or inaccurate birth information or a service interruption.
Birth-chart content is provided for personal reflection and learning. It is not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice and does not promise a particular event or outcome. How birth details are used and retained is explained in the privacy notice.
9. Mentorship and member content
Ongoing mentorship is provided through the KPA community, available peer discussion, guidance resources and scheduled support. It does not mean unlimited private one-to-one access or emergency advice. Availability may vary reasonably with facilitator capacity, member demand and scheduled programming.
Course materials, reference content, PDFs and other member resources are for the member's personal professional learning. They must not be copied, sold, republished or shared outside any permission stated with the material. A member keeps ownership of content they create, while giving KPA the limited permission needed to host and display content they choose to post.
10. Responsible use and account security
Members must provide accurate account and eligibility information, keep login details private, follow the forum rules, respect other people and avoid unlawful, abusive, misleading or privacy-infringing content. Members are responsible for removing client names and other identifying details before sharing a case reflection or assistant question.
We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect people or the service, investigate suspected fraud or misuse, address a serious or repeated rule breach, comply with law, or respond to loss of practitioner eligibility. Except where urgent protection is required, we will explain the reason and provide a reasonable route to raise a concern.
11. Public directory, events and client reviews
A directory listing confirms only the practitioner's public KPA status at the time checked. It is not an endorsement of a particular service or a guarantee of outcomes. Public profiles and practitioner event listings require current eligibility, the necessary consent and KPA approval.
Public profiles may link to a practitioner's Google reviews page. Those reviews are hosted and controlled by Google, are not KPA testimonials and are not approved or verified by KPA.
Reviews must describe a genuine personal experience and must not include private client information, medical details, abuse, unlawful material or misleading claims. KPA checks every submission before publication. Reviews are not selected according to their star rating: both positive and critical experiences may be published when they meet the same standards. KPA administrators may reject or remove content that does not meet these requirements. Reviewers can request removal through the contact page.
12. Training and health information
Public website and KPA knowledge content is educational. It does not replace appropriate individual screening or professional healthcare. Training applications begin a conversation and do not guarantee acceptance, certification or an outcome. Any separate training contract or course-specific terms supplied before booking will also apply to that course.
13. Availability and responsibility
We use reasonable care in providing the services but cannot promise uninterrupted access or that every item will remain available indefinitely. Planned maintenance, security work or events outside reasonable control may interrupt access. We will act reasonably to restore service and address material problems.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or a consumer's statutory rights.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. A consumer living elsewhere keeps any mandatory protections and rights to use courts available under the law that applies to them. Please contact us first so we have a fair opportunity to resolve a concern; doing so does not restrict a person's right to seek an independent remedy.
15. Changes and contact
We may update these terms for legal, security or service reasons. The effective date above shows the current version. A material change affecting an active paid membership will be communicated reasonably before it takes effect, with a cancellation route where appropriate.
Questions, cancellation support and complaints can be sent through the contact page or to kambopractitioneralliance@gmail.com.
