The Kambo Practitioner Training provided by the Kambo Practitioner Alliance (KPA) is for educational purposes only. While Kambo is a traditional Amazonian practice with recognized healing properties, it is not a replacement for conventional medical care. By participating in this course, you agree to the following terms:Health Conditions: You must disclose any pre-existing medical conditions, including but not limited to AneurismActive ulcers.Alcohol Dependancy Addison’s Disease.Brain issues (any) Blood Clots.Chemotherapy or Chemo Drugs 6 Weeks Pre & Post.Drug dependency (all opioids + benzos)Gastric Sleeve or band Heart issues (any)Organ transplant, Bipolar, schizophrenia, schizo affective disorders, psychosis, personality disorders.Previous psychiatric history must be declared. Medicated low blood pressureRecent Surgeries - Min 8 Weeks Post.Stroke.Pregnant.Pancreatic issues Breastfeeding - Under 6 Months.Within 21 days of giving birth.Under 18 years of age.Asthmatic - depending on severity - Must bring inhaler.Diabetics need to bring insulin, testing strips, and food.Anybody that has taken Bufo for 8 weeks prior COVID Vaccination (min 6 Weeks post)** This list is not exhaustive and any health issues should be listed on the online application form **Medical Responsibility: The instructors and organizers are not liable for any adverse reactions that may occur during or after the course. It is your responsibility to ensure you are physically and mentally fit to participate in accordance to the contraindications listed. Practitioner Liability: Completing this course does not automatically qualify you as a KPA Certified Kambo Practitioner, all 12 modules must be completed to attain certification. Practicing Kambo with clients should only be done after certification, the KPA or Lewis Powell hold no responsibility for those practicing Kambo after taking part in the course that are not KPA Certified Course Fees: Payment for the Kambo Practitioner Training is non-refundable unless the course is cancelled by KPA. All fees must be paid in full 14 days prior to the start of the course to secure your place. No refunds will be given unless in exceptional circumstances and the deposit is exclusively non-refundable. Course Failure: In the case of exam failure, one more opportunity may be given for a resit, this will be free of charge, however this decision will be down to the discretion of Lewis Powell. The KPA withhold the right to remove students that may be acting inappropriately or disruptively, at any time. Additional Costs: The course fee covers training, light refreshments, and the use of necessary equipment during sessions. However, participants are responsible for any additional expenses, including travel, accommodation, and personal items (e.g., knife, water bowl, smudging shell).Equipment Purchase: Optional equipment purchases after the course are at the participant's discretion and are non-refundable.Liability: KPA is not liable for any financial losses incurred due to cancellations, changes in personal circumstances, or other unforeseen events. Ensure you have appropriate insurance if traveling from abroad.Informed Consent: You acknowledge the potential physical and emotional challenges of Kambo, including purging, heightened emotional states, and other physical reactions. You participate voluntarily and fully accept the risks involved. Ethical and Legal Compliance: You agree to practice Kambo ethically and legally, respecting the cultural roots of the medicine, and following all applicable laws governing its use in your country or region. By enrolling in this training, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this disclaimer and agree to release KPA, its instructors, and affiliates from any and all liability related to the application of Kambo during and after the course
