Course Overview
This intensive training program at the beautiful Florestral retreat center in Costa Rica is designed for those who wish to become Kambo practitioners, with a strong focus on safety, ethics, and advanced skills. Participants will explore both the scientific and spiritual dimensions of Kambo, learning to administer this sacred medicine with confidence, respect, and a deep understanding of its effects on body and mind.
As part of the Kambo Practitioner Alliance (KPA), this training not only equips you with the essential knowledge but also immerses you in a supportive global community of practitioners. The course is structured to offer a transformative experience, preparing you not just as a practitioner but as a healer and guide.
Course Curriculum
    •    Introduction to Kambo: The history, origins, and traditional uses of Kambo, focusing on its Amazonian roots and spiritual significance.
    •    Science of Kambo: Understanding the biochemical effects of Kambo, its potential benefits, and the risks associated with its use.
    •    Application Techniques: Practical, hands-on training in safely applying Kambo, including various techniques for different body types, sensitivities, and individual needs.
    •    Dosage and Protocols: Detailed guidance on safe dosage, variations in protocols, and situational considerations.
    •    Holding Space: Techniques for creating a safe, supportive environment and managing group dynamics in a ceremony setting.
    •    Emergency Preparedness: Managing adverse reactions, contraindications, and how to respond effectively to emergencies.
    •    Shamanic and Spiritual Healing Practices: Integrating shamanic techniques and spiritual perspectives in Kambo healing, enhancing the depth and impact of each ceremony.
    •    Ethics and Responsibility: Deep dive into ethical considerations, informed consent, cultural respect, and legal issues associated with Kambo practices.
    •    Aftercare and Integration: Best practices for supporting clients post-ceremony, helping them process and integrate their experiences meaningfully.
Special Ayahuasca Ceremony Option
Participants have the option to partake in an Ayahuasca ceremony at Florestral, led by experienced facilitators. This powerful, traditional plant medicine ceremony offers deep personal insights and healing, providing a complementary experience to Kambo training.
Note: Participation in the Ayahuasca ceremony is optional and may incur additional fees.

    •    12 Days of Comprehensive Training: Daily sessions covering theory, practical application, and supervised practice.

Course Schedule
    •    Arrival and Orientation: June 9th, 2025
    •    Training Days: June 10th - 19th, 2025
    •    Daily sessions run from 10:00 am to 8 pm with breaks for meals.
    •    Practical assessments and evaluations will take place during the final days.
    •    Departure: June 20th, 2025

Course Requirements
    •    Eligibility: Open to all levels, though experience with Kambo or other healing modalities is recommended.
    •    Assessment: Participants will be evaluated on their practical skills and understanding of the curriculum. Successful completion of these assessments is required to receive certification.
Cost and Payment Details
Total Course Fee: £2,600
This fee covers all training, food, and accommodation at Florestral.
    •    Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of £800 is required to secure your place.
    •    Payment Plans: Flexible payment plans are available to make this journey accessible.
What to Bring
    •    Personal Items: Comfortable clothing, water bottle, journal, and any personal sacred items you’d like for ceremonies.
    •    Practical Gear: Sun protection, insect repellent, and basic medical items as needed for a tropical climate.
    •    Additional Essentials: Yoga mat, torch, swimwear, and sturdy footwear for the environment.
Travel Information
Participants are responsible for arranging their own flights and transport to Florestral in Costa Rica. A detailed guide on reaching the retreat center will be provided, along with recommendations for nearby accommodations if you wish to arrive early or stay longer.
