WHAT IS KAMBO?
Kambo is a secretion from the Monkey Tree Frog, that resides in the upper region of the Amazon Rainforest basin. Kambo secretion is not technically a poison or a venom, the secretion is used by the frogs as a protection for it's skin in the dry seasons and as a deterrent from potential predators. Many tribes within the Amazon have been using Kambo for 100s if not thousands of years, such as; the Matses, Kaxinawa and Yawanawa tribes. The tribal communities use Kambo for many reasons such as; hunting, to warn off bad spirits/energies, to clear bad luck, infections, fertility, immunity and more.
